UK Elite, a leading provider of soccer camps, coaching and programs in the United States, has adopted and integrated the use of Global Goal to help develop the skills of their players.
GB Wheelchair Basketball Association’s Tournament Global Goal was invited to the Great Britain Wheelchair Basketball Association’s tournament at the Stoke Mandeville Stadium on Saturday, and players took full advantage of the Goal for pre match warm ups and skills training.
Pro player from the MK Lions team, Yorick Williams assisted with training, together with showing the youngsters some of his specialist basketball skills and tricks.
The weekend was a fantastic success with over 150 young players from all over the UK taking part in what was a fast paced show of disabled basketball at it’s finest.
Global Goal proved yet again that it is the best multi functional training tool in the UK , designed for the very young through to the highest standard of play in any hand to ball coordination sport.
Global Goal challenge hits the target! The Global Goal team took to the stands at the Grassroots Soccer Show at The NEC Birmingham recently and challenged players of all ages to exhibit their skills using a Pro Goal and a Home Goal. The results were staggering and sales of the Home version exceeded all expectations.
Younger players, especially, were coming back time and again to practice on the Goals, and on Saturday were shown how to enhance their ‘keepy uppy’ skills by Danny Robinson from the football film ‘In the Hands Of The Gods’ who also kept the crowds entertained with his show of skills and ball juggling.

A whole soccer field is not necessary if you are training with Global Goal. You can train in small areas, e.g. between fields in use. An area of 5 x 10 yarss can be enough for a successful training session if you are using Global Goal. This versitility is one of the reasons why Global Goal was awarded the coveted ispo BrandNew Award. Since 2000, more than 1,250 companies thoughout the world have taken part in the competition.
In 2005, 130 companies from 19 different countries participated in six different categories. Global Goal won in the most prestigious category: "Hardware".
